Kulalu Camp is a small and personal family camp. We have five private tents facing the Galana River, for front row seats of the wildlife action on the other side.
Simba (lion in Swahili) is closest to the main mess and dining area, with its double bed and ensuite bathroom. Perfect for families, Simba Toto is situated adjacent to Simba, sharing the same bathroom; a twin tent for the kids.
Next door and Tent 2 is Twiga, which means “giraffe” in Swahili. Twiga is a twin bed tent and with a private ensuite bathroom with shower
Tent no 3 is Baraka (Blessings) and you will be truly blessed in this twin tent with the gentle sound of the river soothing your stresses and strains.
Kanga or Guinea Fowl in Swahili, is the end tent number 4, slightly elevated for panoramic views of the wildlife.
Finally set a little back from the river between Twiga and Baraka, is Mdinguni (Heaven). With the same great vista, tent no 5 is a little more private with its own hammock to lie in and watch the world go by.
All tents have a veranda, table and chairs, plus a relaxing daybed for private quiet times. Hot showers are available in the evening at 6pm or on request. All tents have ensuite bathrooms with shower.
Camp is powered by solar energy.
